Details ski touring in Morocco

Day 1: After a flight to Marrakeh, we will transfer you to the village of Imlil in the High Atlas Mountains. It is the base of the ski touring. Having dinner is followed by discussing the overview of the programme and equipement check. In a guesthouse, you will stay in the overnight.

Day 2: To the Amguedoul Valley, you will be transfered. It is located in the North of Djebel Toubkal. The overnight will be spent in the region of Tacheddirt.

Vertical distance: 1.500 m, Hiking time: 3-4 h.

Day 3: The ski takes us to Iguenouane’s eastern peak. You will be wamly invited to a glass of mint tea and a typical ligh meal by our porters. Being driven to Imlil. At a guesthouse, you will enjoy a traditional dinner, have dinner and take a refreshing hot shower. Vertical distance: 1.600 m, Hiking time: 4-5 h.

Day 4: We head to Neltner Hut after a good night sleep. In Neltner Hut , you will spend the overnight.

Vertical distance: 1.500 m, Hiking time: 4-5 h.

Day 5: Leaving the wonderful Neltner Hunt in Toubkal massif, you will make the way Clochetons Couloir. Vertical Distance: 1.000 m, Hiking time: 3 h.

Day 6: The destination is the summit of Djebel Toubkal (the highest peak in North Africa at 4.167m) after leaving Neltner Hut. Vertical distance: 1.000 m, Hiking time: 3-4 h.

Day 7: Gathering tops past 4000 m. Excellent visit with at least three summits:

Times Guida (4.089m), Ras (4.083 m), Akjoud (4.010 m).

Vertical distance: 1.500 m, Hiking time: 4-5 h.

Day 8: Having a ski tour in massif’s centeral towards Toubkal. A nice experience descending to Sidi Chamharouch and Imlil before we reach Marrakech driving jeep.

Vertical distance: 900 m, Hiking time: 3 h.

Day 9: You will enjoy a guided tour to Marrakech’s sightseeing: Jamaa El Fnaa (the largest square in Morocco where you will see storytellers, snake charmers…), city wall (still-standing monument of the 12th-century and 12km long), Souks (traditional markets in narrow streets where vaults and bazaars), and Koutoubia Mosque (an authentic landmark that is 77m high). You will enough time to walk through the city, shopping and have a visit to the Hammam bathhouse. At a hotel Riad, you will stay in the overnight. A surprise from Arabian Nights.

Day 10: Being transfered to the airport depending on your time deoarture.

The tour’s program is flexible to change depending on the group requirements, weather, or road conditions.
