Atlas Trek Adventure

day 1: Casablanca – Transfer to the hotel

You will be warmly welcomed at the airport of Mohammed Fifth before you are transfered to your hotel. You will be provided with a brief overview about the tour you’ll enjoy having.

Day 2: Casablanca – Rabat – Rif Mountains – Chefchaouen

 After having breakfast at your accommodation, your second day’s plan is heading toward Rabat (the capital of Morocco) where we will visit some interesting historical sites. The destination after that is Chefcouen. On our way, we will travel through the beautiful Rif Mountains. Chefchouen is located in the northwest of Moroco. It is nicknamed “The Blue City”. It is one of the attraction for tourists thanks to its beauty, washed walls, traditional buildings and markets, handicrafts. The wonderful views and landscapes of Rif Mountainss are a point of attracytion for photography. After taking a walk through this beautiful city, we will guide you to the hotel you will stay in.

  Day 3: Fes – Rif Mountains – Chefchaouen – Fes

 Leaving Chefchouen, the destination is Fes. During your journey, you will admire the beautiful landscapes, olive trees, grain, vegetables and grapes alongside the road. On the way, we will stop to visit Volubilis (the famous Roman ruins in Morocco) and Meknes (was founded by Sultan Moulay Ismail). In Meknes, you will be able to visit Maderasa Bouanania, Bab Elmansour, which takes us to Moulay Ismail Palace and Henri Essaouani, the granairies and horses stable. In Fez, you will spend the night at a hotel.

Day 4 Full Day To Visit Fes

 Before you will go to explore Fez city with a local guide, you will have breakfast. Today’s program is to visit the Medina (the old city) and walk through its Souks before we stop at the gateway Royale Palace and visit Alkarouine University (the first established university in the world according to Guinness World and UNESCO. Next, you will have a visit to Moulay Idriss II’s tomb (the founder of Fez city). Lunch will be served at one of local restaurantsin the old Medina. The tour continues to visit the old Harem Garden, Najarine Fountain, and Batha Museum. Before you are back to the hotel, you will appreciate the breathtaking view of the entire city of Fez.

 Day 5 Fes – Ifrane – Azrou – Ziz Valley – Erfoud – Merzouga

 After takingoff toward Merzouga, you will have breakfast at the hotel. During your travel, you will visit many places and drive through wonderful landscapes of the range of the Atlas Mountains. During the journey, you will stop to visit Cedar visit. It is the largest woodland in Morocco where different kind birds and Berber apes live. After we finsh visiting this beautiful area, we will head Zaida village to have lunch. After lunch, we proceed with our tour driving through the Atlas Mountains before we reach Midelt’s breathtaking landscapes. Before arriving at Merzouga, we will travel through Rich ‘a small town), Erfoud, where you will start to feel the Sahara dsert  through Tafilalt’s oasis. After you are in Merzouga, you’ll be guided to the hotel where you spend the rest of the night.

 Day 6 Merzouga – Berber Families – Black Desert – Merzouga (Camel Ride & Night in Sahara)

 Today’s program is exploring the area of Merzouga. You will visit the village of Khamlia, which is inhabited by Gnawa people who came from Zfrican countries such as Sudan and Mali, where you will observe the lifestyle and listen to music. After that, we will head to Merzouga’s lake where many kinds of birds live such as Flamingos. You’ll also have the chance to share a cip of tea with a nomad family where you will see the skillful handicrafts (you may want to buy smth because the price is much lower than the cities). In the afternoon, you will be guided by a camelman riding camels in order to explore Erg Chebbi’s sand sea. You will camp in the middel of the Sahara in a nomad tent where dinner is served under the endless stars.

Dinner, Bed and Breakfast

Day 7 Merzouga – Errissani – Jorf – Todra Gorges – Dades Valley/ Gorges

 On the early morning, you will be up to witness the breathtaking sunrise over the sand dunes before you enjoy sipping a cup of tea. After that, we will ride camel back to Merzouga where you’ll have breakfast and take a refreshing shhower. The next destination is Rissan. It is a fortified town in Tafilalt’s region. It is one of the Alouite dynasties and where the Mausoleum of Moulay Ali Sherif. The journey continues to Dades Valley. On the way, we will visit the amzing Todgha Gorges. They are the highest and the narrowest gorges in Morocco. We will also travel through Tinerhir Oasis. It is known for its coloroful valley and green palm trees and villages. Before reaching Dades, we will drive through the Road of Thousand Kasbahs.

Day 8: Dades – Roses Valley – Skoura – Ouarzazate – High Atlas – Marrakech

 Today, the destination is Ouarzazate. Our journey takes its way through Skoura’s wonderful trees. Bfore we visit the UNESCO World Heritage World Site Kasbah Ait Ben Haddou, we will stop at the Kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou to enjoy the wonderful views and take some picture near Atlas Film Studios. At a local restaurant in the village of Ait Ben Haddou, you will enjoy having lunch. To Marrakech, we will drive in the afternoon. We will drive through the terrific pass of Tizi N’Tichka. It is 2260 meters high of over the High Atlas Mountains.

Day 9: Full Day To Visit Marrakech

 On the 9th-day of the tour, you will enjoy having a tour in Marrakech city. You will visit Menara.            It is an encircled large pool with flowerbeds. Its function is to irrigate the surrounded fields. This tour includes visiting Koutoubia Mosque, Majorelle Gardens, Bahia Palace, the museum of jewelry Dar Si Said. Before you take a stroll through the Medina’s Souks, having lunch will be optional. From a terrace café or restaurant in Jamaa El Fnaa, you will enjoy watching the sunset while you are having a drink.

 Day 10: Marrakech – Airport

 It is the day number ten. We will drive you to the airport of Marrakech/Casablanca where the tour comes to an end.
