Atlas Trek Adventure
DAY 1 : MARRAKECH – HIGH ATLAS – OUARZAZATE – DADES VALLEY
The tour begins with picking you up at 8 am and drive to Dades Valley. To reach the destination, we will drive through the famous pass of Tizi N’Tichka. You will also admire the wonderful landscapes of the High Atlas Mountains. In Ouarzazate, we will have lunch at one of the local restautants. The journey continues to visit the Kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou. It is listed as one of the UNESCO World Heritage Sites. This precious Kasbah has been a place where many Hollywood movies were shot such as Gladiator and The Mumy. We will procced with our tour traveling through the Valley of Roses, Skoura’s palm trees and the amazing Road of Thousand Kasbahs. Here, you can see the 17th-century kasbahs. In Dades, you will have diner and spend the overnight.
DAY 2 : DADES VALLEY – TODGHA GORGE – MERZOUGA DESERT
After you have your breakfast at the accommodation, we will appreciate the breathtaking views of Dades Valley. The day continues with driving to visit Todgha Gorges where the highest and narrowest gorges in Morocco. After having lunch in this stunning place, we will continue the journey to Merzouga. We will start our camel excursion from Merzouga. We will ride camels to camp in the middle of the Sahra Desert. On your way, you will enjoy the sunset over the high sand dunes. In a nomad tent, we will spend the overnight and have dinner under the endless stars.
DAY 3 : ERG CHEBBI – DESERT NOMADS – RISSANI – KHAMLIA
Today, you will be up early enough in the morning to witness the breathtaking sunrise over the sand dunes and landscapes. Before we start exploring the area of Erg Chebbi sand dunes, we will have breakfast. The program of the journey includes visiting Tissardmine oasis, meet nomad families, and observe people’s lifestyle. The 3rd day of the day cotinues to visit the village of Khamlia where you will listen to Gnawa music. In Rissani, you will have Berber Pizza for lunch. Late in the afternoon, we will transfer you to the camp.
DAY 4 : MERZOUGA – ERFOUD – MIDELT – AZROU – IFRANE- FES
Today’s destination is Fes. After breakfast, we will travel through the palm trees of Tafilalt, Erfoud and Midelt. On our way, we will take a break for having lunch and visit Cedar Forest (the largest wood-land in Morocco). Before we arrive at Fes in the evening, we will travel through Ifrane (Switzerland of Morocco). The tour comes to an end in Fes!
